Administrators · Windows sign-in
Install the Windows agent silently and through Group Policy (GPO)
The MSI installs silently with properties. In an Active Directory domain, deploy it through Group Policy and configure its behaviour with the ADMX templates.
MSI properties
| Property | Meaning |
|---|---|
TENANT_ORIGIN (required) | Your organization's https address |
INSTALL_TOKEN | The install token; the service enrols the computer and then deletes it |
SUPPORT_CONTACT | The contact the recovery screen shows |
ORGANIZATION_NAME | Shown on the sign-in panel |
PANEL_LANGUAGE | pt-PT or en; without it, follows Windows |
FAIL_MODE_SAFE | Behaviour in Safe Mode |
AUTO_UPDATE | 1 (default) installs signed updates; 0 turns them off |
OFFLINE_INSTALL | 1 skips the check that the organization responds |
Before finishing, the installer checks that the organization responds and loads the provider exactly as the sign-in screen does. A failure ends the installation, so a broken provider is never left behind.
