Tutorial 02Put the platform under your brand3:47 · Narrated in Portuguese, with English captions.Transcript and details

Branding sets the colours, logos, icon and texts of your organization's sign-in page and console. It is under «Manage» › «Branding».

Where does the current branding come from?

Each group shows its source: «This organization's own», «Inherited from the parent organization», «Inherited from the distributor/partner», «Inherited from the platform» or the default theme. Without your own, those of the parent organization, the distributor or the platform apply.

Colours

  1. Under «Colours», choose the «Mode» («Light» or «Dark») and adjust the tokens («Primary», «Accent», «Surface», «Text», …).
  2. The console checks WCAG AA contrast as you edit. Pairs below the minimum block saving.
  3. Choose «Save colours». «Use the inherited colours» returns to the inherited ones.

Logos and icon

Under «Logos and icon», upload «Logo for light mode», «Logo for dark mode» and «Icon (favicon)» with «Upload»:

SlotRule
LogosStill PNG or WebP, at most 128 KiB, 2048 pixels a side and 4 megapixels
IconSquare PNG, 32 to 512 pixels, at most 64 KiB

«Back to inherited» restores the inherited image.

Sign-in texts and email

Under «Sign-in texts, email and mark», set per language the title (80), the subtitle (160) and the help text (400), the «Sender name (blank: the organization's name)» and «Show the logo in emails». Choose «Save texts and options».

Sign-in hero

The «Sign-in hero» group sets the large panel beside the sign-in form; the form itself does not change.

  1. Per language («English», «Portuguese»), write a headline (up to 80 characters) and, optionally, a supporting line (up to 160). Both blank inherit. A supporting line needs a headline.
  2. Under «Typeface of the hero and headings», pick «Standard», «Classic serif», «Geometric», «Rounded» or «Condensed». It applies to the hero and the sign-in page's headings only.
  3. Under «Logo in the hero», choose «Show the logo large in the hero» or «Do not show the logo in the hero». The hero uses the logo of the mode it is shown in (the dark-mode logo on a dark hero, the light-mode one on a light hero, else the other one).
  4. The «Preview» shows the result as you type. Choose «Save hero».

With nothing set, people see the original product's statement or, with white label, a neutral one ("Secure sign-in."). If you write only one language, people who use the other language see that text too.

The typefaces are open-licence (OFL) fonts the service delivers itself; no external font service is used. Emails, the Windows sign-in panel and the phone app keep their system fonts.

When do people see the change?

At their next sign-in, session start or app start. An open session keeps the old branding until then.

The name

The organization's name comes from the organization profile: «Change the name in the organization profile».

Product names and sender address

In the same group, «Product names» sets what people see instead of the original product name when white label is on, and the email group has a sender address. Blank fields are inherited from your provider. See your provider for the sending domain; the rules are in Per-brand email sender.
